About New Prospect Public School

New Prospect Public School is the only KPDSB school in the Dryden area that offers French Immersion programming, starting in Kindergarten!

New Prospect is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school located on 10 acres of land on the north side of Dryden. Our location offers lots of outdoor play space, surrounded by city maintained walking paths and soccer fields. Our students take full advantage of these amenities by going for nature walks, cross country skiing or snowshoeing during recesses and physical education time or just enjoying all that space to run and play during break times. Our school also has a huge garden that each class uses to plant and harvest fruit and vegetables each year.

New Prospect School has three Full-Day Kindergarten programs (two English and one French). These classrooms are staffed with specialized Kindergarten teachers and Early Childhood Educators who are experts in early childhood development and are caring adults. There is a dedicated, fenced in area for your child to experience the full benefits of outdoor, exploratory play in a safe environment. Our French Immersion programming continues to grow each year and our families can’t say enough about our French Immersion Kindergarten program and staff.

Our staff always put the needs of our students first and go above and beyond to support our students. Give us a call anytime or stop in and see us, we’d love to meet you and your family!
